Two ARCH Lab MSc Students Successfully Defend Theses

Congratulations to ARCH Lab students Erica McDonald and Madeline Reed on the successful defence of their MSc theses!

Erica successfully defended her thesis titled “Psychometric Properties and Informant Agreement of the WHODAS 2.0 in Youth with Mental Disorder and their Parents”. Erica has accepted an offer to join the MD/PhD program at the University of British Columbia next year where she will continue to research children and youth.

Maddie successfully defended her thesis titled “Family Functioning and Health-Related Quality of Life in Parents of Children with Mental Illness”. Maddie enjoyed her time with the ARCH lab, and especially appreciated the knowledgeable support of the team as she navigated an entire thesis from start to finish during the COVID-19 pandemic.

All the best Erica and Maddie!
