As part of the Canada 150 celebration, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) launched the Celebrating Health Research storybook—150 stories from researchers about why they pursued a career in health research, the health problems they are tackling, and the new scientific knowledge they are creating. Dr. Ferro’s work on youth multimorbidity, particularly as it relates to the elucidation of biological and psychosocial processes linking physical and mental health and the implications for the development of intervention, was profiled.
