Two ARCH Lab MSc Students Successfully Defend Theses

Congratulations to ARCH Lab’s Kiran Dhuga and Lauren Gosse on the successful defense of their MSc theses yesterday!

Kiran’s project was titled “Parental Depressive Symptoms and Physical-Mental Multimorbidity in Children”. Her results indicated that there are three parental depressive symptom trajectories: low, subclinical and clinical. These trajectories, however, were not associated with child physical-mental multimorbidity.

In Lauren’s project, “Mental Health Service Use Among Children with Chronic Physical Illness”, findings suggest that mental health needs are pervasive in children with chronic physical illness given both the proportion as well as the array of combinations of health care providers reported by children and their families.

Congratulations Kiran and Lauren! All the best in your future endeavours!
